Orion is proud to announce the Memphis Farmers Market as the April focus of our Orion Gives Back program.

The Memphis Farmers Market is a weekly non-profit outdoor market featuring local farmers and artisans. Since 2006, they have worked to improve public access to locally grown foods and locally produced arts and crafts while educating the community on nutrition. The market also offers live music and weekly themed events and programs.

The mission of the Memphis Farmers Market is to:

• Improve public health and nutrition options by providing a vehicle to educate the community on nutrition and good health
• Provide access to local food choices
• Assist area farmers, producers, and artisans with sustainable business opportunities
• Generate a sense of local pride while furthering the economic development of our community
