Orion is proud to announce the RISE Foundation as the September focus of our “Orion Gives Back” program.

RISE seeks to improve the community by providing financial literacy tools and incentives to help families build assets and make better financial choices. Through the years, RISE has developed a unique expertise in helping entry-level wage earners to budget, save and accumulate assets. Since its inception in 1999, the number of families RISE has served has grown from 48 to 437.

RISE was the brainchild of the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis, the Memphis Housing Authority and the United Way of the Mid-South and was developed to help Memphis public housing residents achieve financial self-sufficiency, thereby making the city a healthier place.
