Kids may be sad that summer is drawing to a close, but here at Orion we’re excited the start of school is right around the corner. This year, we’re working on a back-to-school drive for one of our adopted schools: Westside Elementary in Frayser.  With help and donations from local vendors and our employees, we have assembled 350 backpacks containing school supplies and uniform items to give to needy students attending Westside Elementary on the first day of the semester!

We want to extend a special thanks to Yuletide Office Supply and Tiger Promotions for their generous donations and assistance in getting items for our drive at cost.  And we couldn’t be more proud of our employees, whose contributions have made our stack of supplies steadily grow during the past two weeks:

We want to use our resources to help eliminate barriers to children attending and succeeding in school, starting with day one. Orion prides itself on building a stronger Memphis through giving back, and we believe ensuring underprivileged students are positioned for success is one of the best ways to do that.
