EMV chips are the new standard in card security and we are proud to announce that soon every Orion Debit Card will include this added protection.

EMV chips create a unique code for each transaction when used at an EMV enabled terminal, making the card extremely difficult to counterfeit.

EMV card transactions are a little different than you’re used to, but very simple. You’ll just insert your EMV card into the card terminal at the start of the transaction and leave it in for the duration. When the transaction is complete, remove the card and you’re done. It’s as easy as that.
