The September 2015 Orion Gives Back recipient is the Pink Palace.

The Pink Palace is a Mid-South landmark and Memphis treasure.  Once a palatial home, it is now a repository of our city’s antiquity whose mission is “to inspire visitors to discover human cultures, the natural world, technology and the universe.” Combining exhibits in the science & historical museum with the Sharpe Planetarium and the fabulous CTI 3D Giant Theater, they offer engaging programs for student and public audiences alike.

We are particularly proud to support their Education Department, which works with Shelby County teachers year-round to provide free programs for Title I students.  Their Educators Open House is coming up – mark your calendars now: September 29, 3:30 – 7:30.
