Partnering for Change

It’s exciting and gratifying to watch a giving back partner grow and blossom into a real force for change.

Bank On Memphis has made true leaps this past year in expanding their platform and deepening their reach. In the past 12 months, they’ve ramped up their marketing efforts, released a mobile app and launched an interactive financial literacy program for teens called “On My Own.”

We’ve been a proud supporter for 3 years and were thrilled when they recently invited us to  collaborate in the Workforce Investment Network’s 2016 Summer Youth Employment Program.  Orion was one of only three financial institutions on hand to assist in opening direct deposit accounts for the 150 program participants. We were excited to help fill a banking need in the community!

Partnering closely with different businesses throughout Shelby County, WIN’s program helps Opportunity Youth gain paid work experience. The 5-week program includes Bank On Memphis’ interactive financial literacy program “On My Own.”  If you would like to learn more, visit WIN’s Youth Services site.
