At Orion, we strive to keep our team inspired, informed and forward-thinking so that they’re not just good employees but positive contibutors to our community outside of work.
To that end, we recently introduced a new internal initiative: a speaker series featuring remarkable individuals who have made an impact on our Memphis community and, in the case of our first guest, the entire nation. Philip Mudd, former deputy director of the CIA Counterterrorist Center and FBI National Security Branch, spoke at our headquarters to a crowd that included community leaders and nonprofit partners. Drawing heavily on his experiences in the CIA following the attacks of 9/11, he shared stories and advice on how to achieve seemingly impossible goals by working backwards.
It was a standout step towards a constant Orion aim: to keep getting better.
