Orion is hosting a free document disposal event on October 18th at its headquarters location. The public is invited to drop off any documents they would like to securely shredded from 11am-5pm at 7845 Highway 64, Memphis, TN.
Properly disposing of documents containing sensitive information is essential in protecting against security risks like identity theft and fraud. And shredding is one of the best disposal methods. Orion has teamed with Iron Mountain to provide a mobile shred unit on-site at our headquarters for the event. Participants may bring up to 50 pounds of mixed office paper, light cardboard and similar materials. Plastic, compact disks, DVDs, and other, non-paper based items will not be shredded.
The event coincides with our celebration of International Credit Union Day®, an annual commemoration of the credit union movement’s impact and achievements.
We hope to see you there!
We are pleased to give all Memphians, not just Orion members, this free opportunity to destroy confidential materials, which can help prevent theft and other types of fraud. After all, looking out for each other and helping the community is part of what credit unions are all about.
